Line Kit
Line Kit sets out the core parts of a production line in one ordered package for plant teams in South Africa. It suits sites that need positions, connections and checks recorded clearly before installation work begins.

Line layout before installation
Line Kit brings the essential parts of a plant line into one clear working path. It is suited to South African production teams who need the job defined properly before installation starts.
Line Kit starts with the equipment sequence, the available services and the operating space around each machine. On Highveld sites, dust control, power interruptions and forklift traffic often change where guards, cable runs and operator access should sit. Coastal plants may need extra attention to corrosion risk, washdown practice and stored component protection.
A first site record should capture the bay, service points and any fixed obstructions before equipment is moved in. The pack can then be tied to the line name, asset file or purchase order so maintenance and production teams are looking at the same reference later. This is useful after shutdown cleaning, service work or a change in shift supervision.
What the pack records
The Line Kit pack sets down machine order, working clearances and the main checks needed before fitment starts. It can also note power supply points, compressed air take-offs, guarding positions and access for pallets or bins. Clear line information matters more than multiple sketch options that never reach the plant team.
Use Line Kit with the related plant record only once the base arrangement has been checked against the site file. Before dispatch, confirm the line name, bay reference and revision status on every sheet. If you send details through the contact form, add the line name, plant location and one current site photo.

South African plant conditions
Line Kit must account for older industrial buildings, uneven concrete, fixed columns and shared loading areas found across Gauteng and other production regions. Plants near OR Tambo, Sunnyrock or Crown Mines often need traffic routes and staging areas considered alongside the line itself. Where a site is live, note what equipment stays in place, what is being replaced and what cannot stop this month.
Along the coast, salt air and grit can affect fasteners, bearings and cleaning frequency around the line. Inland sites usually contend with dust build-up on sensors, panels and guarding, which can change inspection routines. Load-shedding also affects commissioning plans, especially where controls, compressors or chilled processes are involved.

Details to send for Line Kit
Send site photos, the planned process order and any known service constraints with a Line Kit enquiry. Include failed items, missing utilities or clearance problems so the pack can reflect actual plant conditions.

It helps to file the Line Kit record while the site walk-through is still fresh. Buyers and project staff usually need the same pack to follow line scope, equipment placement and revision history during procurement and installation.
