Training bays and marked routes
Training Play specs sets out the details for this floor training path. Review it when you need the exact structure behind how teams will use new routes, bays and marked areas. It is written for South African plants where training has to match the floor as it is actually worked.
Training Play specs sets out bay widths, route markings and stop points for supervised staff movement in active plant areas. It accounts for inland dust, coastal humidity, load-shedding interruptions and mixed pedestrian and pallet traffic across South African sites. Use it when the training layout must match the live working area, not a clean drawing.
Start with a photo set of the training zone before tape, signs or barriers are placed. The spec sheet records entry points, handover positions and briefing references so the next shift sees the same arrangement. That record matters where teams rotate often or where one bay serves more than one task during a day.
What the spec pack records
Each pack names the training route, bay limits and hold positions in plain plant language. It also captures checks for visibility, turning space and separation from live vehicle movement. The aim is a setup people can follow during a pressured shift without guessing where the training line begins or ends.
Cross-check Training Play specs against the matching plant play note and the site record before any extra area is marked off. Confirm labels, bay references and counts before dispatch leaves the works. On the contact form, send the path name and one current photo of the training area.

Site conditions that affect training
The spec must allow for export traffic near OR Tambo, warehouse congestion around Sunnyrock and older concrete in Crown Mines. Smaller retail-linked sites can also have narrow access windows and shared service passages. Where production is live, note what may not move, what is temporary and which area must stay open throughout training.
Salt air near the coast shortens replacement cycles for markers, fixings and exposed hardware. Highveld dust reduces line visibility and can interfere with sensors, photo eyes and guard edges if checks are skipped. During power cuts, inspection timing and supervised access points often need a different sequence.

Briefing details to send first
Send site photos, shift timing and a short note on what failed in the last setup. Include bay names, traffic type and any rule for forklifts, jacks or pedestrian crossings. Clear briefing information makes the Training Play spec usable on site rather than generic on paper.
