Media Guide
A media guide with approved photos, project context and floor-system details for plant, warehouse and factory work.
How the Media Guide supports a site week
Media Guide gathers the approved material used to describe Oric floor work accurately. It includes project photos, site context and floor-system details for factory, plant and warehouse applications.
Start the media file with the surface system in place, the area being photographed and the access limits for that shift. Inland dust, coastal humidity, wash-down routines and load-shedding can all change how images read and when a camera crew can work. Notes from Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and regional plants should state what traffic, storage or process equipment will remain in view.
Capture the area before pallets, bins or temporary barricades are moved. Include one wide image, one close record of wear, and a marked plan if more than one bay is involved. That set helps maintenance, procurement and media contacts refer to the same section of the site without mixed descriptions later.
Approved image and data pack
The guide sets out which photos may be issued, what each area is called, and which surface specification belongs to that area. It also records access timing, plant activity and any visible defects that must not be described incorrectly. Useful media material is precise enough for a factory manager and clear enough for an outside editor.
Pair the media file with the relevant project record and system note before sending anything further. Check captions against the current site information, especially where repairs, joint wear or coating failure appear in the images. If material needs to be sent through the contact form, name the plant or bay and attach one current site image.

Site conditions that change coverage
Include operating context where it affects what can be photographed or described, such as dispatch movement, cold-room access or high-traffic forklift aisles. Sites near OR Tambo, Sunnyrock, Crown Mines and busy port routes often have tighter loading windows and stricter visitor control. Where plant sections cannot stop, state what must stay running and what barriers will remain in shot.
Coastal sites may need notes on salt air, moisture and faster grime build-up on treated surfaces. Highveld plants often deal with dust, dry air and visibility issues on line markings and worn edges. During load-shedding periods, list whether emergency lighting, generators or reduced production will affect photography and inspection.

Media file contents to prepare
Use the media guide to send clear floor images, marked-up areas, timing for access, and a short record of failed coatings, worn joints or traffic damage already on site. Keep the subject line factual.

Include approved images, a short site summary, the relevant surface system, and a clear note on defects visible at the time of capture. Add bay names, plant areas or warehouse references exactly as the site uses them. That makes the guide easier to file with procurement records, maintenance notes and project correspondence.
